Stu is passionate about supporting care teams to develop the skills, confidence, and knowledge they need to provide outstanding care. With many years of experience in health and social care workforce development, he works closely with managers and staff to strengthen recruitment, training, and professional development across services. Leading training through the Sussex Training Academy, he delivers practical and engaging learning programmes designed specifically for the health and social care sector. His approach focuses on making training meaningful, supportive, and relevant to the real challenges staff face in their roles every day. Stu believes that investing in people is key to delivering high-quality care. He enjoys helping staff grow in confidence, develop new skills, and progress in their careers while ensuring services continue to meet high professional and regulatory standards. In recognition of his commitment to learning and development, Stu was proud to receive the East Sussex Partners in Care, "Aspiring Talent Through Learning & Development" Award 2025.
