Coastal Homecare provides Home Care, Social Care and Personal Care services throughout West Sussex, Mid Sussex, East Sussex & Brighton and Hove.

Welcome to Coastal Homecare

On behalf of Coastal Homecare, the owners of Coastal Homecare and all of our staff, we welcome you, your family and your friends. We hope that you will be happy with us at Coastal Homecare and will continue to enjoy your current recreational and social pastimes and contacts in addition to those which we can offer you after joining us.

The contract prior to commencement of service states that at the end of first month of your service being provided we will jointly review the care and support service, to ensure that you are satisfied that you have made the right decision. We will consult with you and, if appropriate and with your permission, your family, and seek your views as to whether you wish to revise the service in any way.

The Background of Coastal Homecare

Coastal Homecare was formed in 2012 by Robert Anderson who has many years experience within Health & Social Care.

Previously Robert had owned and managed a Domiciliary Care Agency in Brighton & Hove.

His Agency provided care services to the Elderly residents within the area. The Agency was an approved provider to Brighton & Hove Council.

Over the last few years, Robert has been teaching/training Health & Social Care for a local college. During this time, he has identified that there is a need for a wholly independent care provider where the owner is in daily control of the care provision.

Coastal Homecare’s aim is to provide a high level of care that is focussed on the rights and choices of the individuals who will receive the care.

In April of 2013 Robert Was joined by Ronnie Chatterton-Sim as a partner, at this time a new company was formed, and we now trade as Coastal Homecare(Hove) Limited.

Ronnie also has many years of experience of working within Health & Social Care, having worked initially in children’s services before moving over to work within the adult care sector.

Ronnie owned and managed a large Domiciliary Care Agency in Hove.

This Agency provided care services to the Elderly residents within the area. The Agency was an approved provider to Brighton & Hove Council.

At Coastal Homecare, we have a rigorous recruitment policy. Every member of the team must undergo a

DBS (Disclosure Barring Service ) check, provide a full employment history and also provide two written references.

All new and experienced team members undergo induction training as well as attending on-going specialist

training. Team members also have the opportunity for career advancement within Coastal Homecare.

Coastal Homecare is registered and licensed to provide services by Care Quality Commission (CQC).
